Regional Air Services ltd Company

The company was established in 1988 having as operation purpose general aviation (aviochemical flights, parachute jumping banner towing, aerotaxi and pleasure flights) and air maintenance services.

In1999, Regional Air Services took over Tuzla – Constanta aerodrome, being the first company to own a private aerodrome in Romania.

With a 36 hectare area, the aerodrome has two grass runways, a 1200square meter hangar, two administration buildings, a 600.000 liter fuel storage area.

At present the company’s fleet includes six AN2 planes, two Ka26 helicopters, , a PZL104Wilga plane and a Zlin142 plane.

The company IS AUTHORISED FOR THE FOLLOWING FLIGHT OPERATIONS:

» AVIOCHEMICAL SERVICES IN AGRICULTURE – fertilising, herbicide, pest control and diseases.
» Parachuting –school, pleasure and training jumps
» Aerial supervision of land objects
» Air advertising – banner toeing, product launch
» Pleasure flights

Regional Air Services is in the process of authorizing/approving/certifying the first private flying school, with the purpose of gaining the Private Pilot Brevet.

The models manufactured by Diamond embrace new technologies/equipments (materiale composite, last generation avionics included in the standard offer, diesel motors with very low fuel consumption) which assures exceptional performances at minimum costs.

Covering a wide range of operations from motorgliders to twinengine aircrafts for passenger transport fitted with IFR (including de-icing and oxygen installation fitted with glass cockpit standard ).

These products place/position Diamond in the top position among major airplane manufacturers.
