AERO GRAND PRIX

Aero GP is an outstanding aviation event organized by ARPA in partnership with Flying Aces, with the support of the City Hall and Constanta County Council. Aviation equivalent to Formula 1, Aero GP challenges powerful aircraft in flights at just 10 meters above the ground and tight circuits, where you can see air race, dog fight and aerobatic demonstrations.

The 2007 edition summed over 500.000 spectators to watch the show, together with stars like Bruce Dickinson - Iron Maiden, Romanian television VIPs and famous pilots. Due to the success of organizing this competition, Constanta became, in 2008, official site of the world tour.

The competition was attended by the best military and civilian pilots in the world.
Between contest parts, the audience watched:
» national aerobatic team performances belonging to Romanian Airclub,
» the Aerobatic Yakkers evolutions,
» skydive coordinated by Adrian Constandache,
» aerobatic demonstrations offered by the Aero GP team and Tuzla Airport and
» formation flights.

Prima TV, Kiss TV andKiss FM stars attended the event, local officials and another promoter of extreme sports - David Neacșu – the Romanian mountaineer that climbed Everest.
