First DA42 Twin Star Delivery To Customer

Three days prior to Easter Diamond Aircraft Industries GmbH delivers the first two DA42 Twin Star to French customers.
Simultaneously a DA42 Twin Star powered by Diesel engines is on it’s way from Wiener Neustadt to Florida. Stops will be made in Denmark, Island, Greenland and London, Ontario.
Meanwhile aircraft serial no. 47 is in production and the general management expects a delivery of four to five aircrafts per week after April 2005.
The actual production rate of the DA42 Twin Star is 10 aircraft per month and will be raised due to the high demand to 17 aircraft per month in May 2005. The advanced orders amount to 215 in Europe and 500 worldwide.
