REGIONAL AIR SERVICES has Air Operator Certificate RO-022(a)/(h), Air Operator Authorization LA-017 and TUZLA Airport base (LRTZ), near CONSTANTA, ranked 2nd in the national top for aircraft movements in 2016, after Otopeni, according to the Romanian Airports Association’s official annual report.

PASSENGER CHARTER TRANSPORT WITH PLANES AND HELICOPTERS, ONSHORE AND OFFSHORE
The aircraft park allows charter flights with both airplanes (DA-42 TWINSTAR, DA-40 TDI, DA-20 Katana) and helicopters, onshore (AS365N Dauphine, AS365N3 Dauphine, Bell-206) and offshore (AS365N Dauphine, AS365N3 Dauphine), in any meteorological conditions.
For offshore operations, REGIONAL AIR SERVICES has facilities and insurances requested to provide full service packages of training and transport for those that perform their work onboard of installations or facilities situated offshore in the Black Sea.

AIR CHEMICAL SERVICES IN THE BENEFIT OF AGRICULTURE OR FORESTRY

AERO PHOTOGRAMMETRIC AND GEODESIC OPERATIONS
REGIONAL AIR SERVICES uses its own aircraft (Bell-206) for mapping works, for aero photogrammetric missions or for soil analyze trough special means. For this kind of work, the equipment can be supplied by the contractor. REGIONAL AIR SERVICES has experience, aircraft and authorizations to support any of your photogrammetric and geodesy needs.

SKYDIVING AND DROP OF MATERIALS FROM AIR
Upon request or along Skydive School activity, skydivers are dropped from up to 3.000 m altitude.

AIR ADVERTISING
Continuous presence on Romanian coast, air advertising REGIONAL AIR SERVICES does with aircraft includes but not limits to banner towing, flyer distribution or other advertising materials.

SEARCH AND RESCUE OPERATIONS
Having over 20 years of work experience in Dobrogea area, REGIONAL AIR SERVICES provides search and rescue operations for individuals in need onshore, or damaged ships, offshore.
Upon request of individuals and institutions, together with means and resources of the National Protection System, REGIONAL AIR SERVICES searches and rescues people in dangerous situations.

AERO FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY
Whatever event you want to keep in a film or picture, REGIONAL AIR SERVICES offers PZL-104 Wilga, DA-20 Katana, DA-40 TDI, DA-42 Twinstar, Bell-206B3 and Cabri G2 aircraft for the best view.
Buildings, land sites, ships under construction or just completed, as, also, ongoing events can be filmed and photographed, in accordance with the law, at optimum resolutions.
REGIONAL AIR SERVICES enables advertising clip shooting and facilitates contact with professional cameraman or photographers.

PLEASURE FLIGHTS
REGIONAL AIR SERVICES offers pleasure flights for 1 to 8 passengers along the coast, the lagoon area of Danube Delta or over flight of historical and touristic monuments.
For this purpose and depending on the required degree of comfort, aircrafts like DA-20 Katana – 1 PAX, DA-40 TDI – 3 PAX, DA-42 Twinstar – 4 PAX, Bell-206 B3 – 4 PAX, Cabri G2 – 1 PAX or AS365N Dauphine – 8 PAX can be used. (Indicated number of passengers is the maximum allowed).
The minimum duration of a pleasure flight is 30 minutes and aircraft fits to destinations cover.
Also, familiarization flights of one hour can be offered, during which, together with one of our flight instructors you can watch all steps the pilot does for a flight mission and have the opportunity, in some phases of the flight, to actually fly the aircraft.

AIRCRAFT RENTAL FOR PPL LICENSORS
If you hold a minimum JAA PPL license, you can rent one of the aircraft provided by REGIONAL AIR SERVICES. Aircraft rental is subject to REGIONAL AIR SERVICES evaluation, made by one of its instructors – during a 30 minutes check flight.
Upon signing the agreement, following documents shall be shown in original:
» JAA License, minim PPL(A)
» Valid medical license
» Radio operator certificate
» Logbook
Aircraft can only be used for non-commercial missions, according to the lease aircraft agreement – a draft of which being here.
Price list of aircraft leased can be checked here. Prices do not include instructor’s fee – when applicable – or airport taxes.
If the rental is for flying in different areas of the country or outside Romania or for several days, this situation requires a different, personalized agreement.
REGIONAL AIR SERVICES assists you flying to maintain qualifications and skills trough training flights and licence revalidation / renewal of for licensed personnel. For this requests, please contact the FTO.
