Search and Rescue (SAR)

» Over 15 experience in the field, Regional Air Services aircraft and airport infrastructure being part of the regional system of search-and-rescue in Dobrogea and Back Sea area;

» Effective participation – with more than 100 search and rescue flight missions made with airplanes and helicopters made at request of local authorities, in inaccessible areas and extreme weather conditions;

» Regional Air Services in currently implementing a SAR service with helicopters specialized and trained at international standards, in cooperation with foreign partners, having an extensive experience.

TUZLA: THE FIRST AIR-NAVAL INTEGRATED SEARCH AND RESCUE SERVICE in ROMANIA

The first professional integrated (air and naval) search and rescue service in Romania – organized as a partnership between a public body and a private operator – was concluded and released these days at Tuzla Airport.
It is also the first Romanian service that meets international standards of ICAO ANNEX 12 ICAO and ICAO – Doc. 7030, but also the OGP standards.
